I first became involved in English language teaching in 2004 as the result of a decision between two choices: a consolidated job washing dishes in London during winter, or responding to a somewhat vague internet listing for a job teaching English in Spain in return for a pittance, food, accommodation, and a bicycle. Already being on a journey of discovery, I took the least known and most curious option, and armed with one phrase of Spanish - qué pasa, tío? - entered a new land, a new language… and found a new passion: language teaching. After more than ten years of teaching English in foreign lands, and at the end of a Master of Education (TESOL), I find myself on a new journey through digital lands and into inquiry learning. On this website, I document the first few steps down a new path in the adventure of English language teaching.
